My 15-year-old daughter is entering the stage of life where her friends are beginning to do dumb, teenager things. I’m thankful that’s she’s open and honest with me about it, but it’s terrifying every time I hear a story of a kid she knows who came to school high or is having sex. It’s brutal.

Instead, check out the surprising Terrapins try to cement themselves as a legit team this season in the Big 10 as they try to knock of Penn State at home. This should be, as always, a great viewing experience to see the atmosphere at State College. Penn State fans are as obnoxious as anyone, but they know how to support their team. Even though they would like to say they invented football, they did invent some great campus traditions like the “white out”. No matter how you feel, this will be a fun game to watch. [Read more…]

As lifelong Tennesseans, the Florida win was like a Christmas dinner that you savor hours after it ends. Sports can’t make you happy or fulfilled, but it can make you happy in a moment where everything comes together. Where years of waiting and frustration payoff into one perfect win.
That was Tennessee’s win over Florida. Our boy Lane worked the press box for this one, and said you cant imagine how loud it was standing on the sideline. [Read more…]
